Thank you for volunteering

We couldn't do it without you.

Easter Weekend, are you ready?

I'm sending the email out shortly where you can sign up for positions. But remember this is still not working quite right so, plan to come early and just jump in and help where ever you can. This is an "ALL HANDS ON DECK'" kinda Sunday :)

Pastor Ken wants you to know he is doing a Sunrise Prayer at 6:30 a.m. Easter Morning if you want to join in.

1.  Can one or two of you plan to keep a close eye on the coffee and hot water.

We're going through a lot more than normal. So we're going to just put out two regular coffees and two water, but have the 3rd one made and ready to replace one of the first two when they are empty and then make more.

2. Can a couple of people plan to make igloo coolers of lemon aide and ice water for the egg hunt and make sure they get taken out with water cups. We'll have the ice and other supplies at the church. If you can bring ice text Pastor Ken. 503-957-8109

Also we should do water dispenser for inside as well. If someone will make sure that is done.

3. We'll do a double Pastry/Charcuterie Board this week. I've asked a few people to bring some goodies, if I didn't get a chance to ask and you want to make some goodies to bring or pickup some fruit feel free. It just needs to be there by 8:15, so we can get everything set up.

4. If you don't have guests coming with you for second service it would really help if you attend first service and be available to help set up the egg hunt, work in the kids area (if you have a background check) and there will plenty to do.

5. Please, please please, take lots of pictures and share them with me. I need everyone to be a photographer. Even do a family selfie showing what fun our Easter Egg Hunt was. So we will have plenty of pictures to share next year as we plan for Easter.

Remember to pray for each other and for Pastor Rusty, Natalie and their kids and for Pastor Ken and me.

Here are some more personal prayer request from our family.

-Pastor Ken was sick last night, but is feeling fine today. Pray I don't get whatever it was and that he doesn't get sick again.

-Garrett, our oldest is wrapping up the last two weeks of tax returns at his job, his kids and wife will be glad to have him home more.

-Rachael, Garrett's wife, is trying to get an appointment for a biopsy on a couple of spots, pray that the doctors will get this done soon and the results will be good.

-Tyler our youngest, an engineer for Eugene Springfield Fire will be working Sunday, so his wife Addy will be attending Easter Service at their church without him.

-Sunday following the Egg Hunt Pastor Ken and I will be flying to Arkansas for the week to celebrate Ken's mom's 99th Birthday which is actually today April 2nd, she recently fell and broke a hip and isn't up walking yet and she has been really disoriented. We will also get to see my family as well.

Thank you for your prayers. We are excited to see what God is going to do and we know God always does more through our little church than any of can even image. Watch and join in with God in sharing his message.
